There’s no command Z in life, girls.
You’ve got to format with great care.
The backspace button’s out of bounds
As well. Type wisely there.
You can’t correction tape your flaws,
Nor cancel with a pen.
Ole Teach will see the mess you’ve made
And scold and scold again.
What is done is done.
What will be, will be.
But that doesn’t mean you bum through life
It means you take it slowly.
Watch for mistakes that may crop up
And quickly make amends
By arching over what you’ve done
And not cancelling with a pen.
Command Z has use in a Mac
While it’s control in Windows 🙂
But as much as I’d like to download it
In life; I know that’s impulse.
‘Cause who knows that mistakes you make
Today are really that?
They might be things that pave your way
To a future none expect.
But live your life with wisdom
And all will turn out well.
You’ll make mistakes for sure
But never let the matter dwell.
To all the lovely Windows people, I know it’s Control Z and not Command, but right now I’m so in love with Mac because it’s so convenient and easy to get along with. And the irony of this poem is that I backspaced quite a lot while typing it, and I actually did have to use Command Z while formatting the lines. Have a great day, people 🙂
